This beautiful Tapa cloth is matted on an oval shaped straw mat giving it a finished edge. It was made in Samoa from the bark of a mulberry tree and died with clay from the mountains. The various patterns represent aspects of Samoan life. It is approximately 13 X 9 inches. |
